The Boca Raton City Council made a unanimous decision during the February 11 meeting to partner with Frisbie Group and Terra to revitalize and transform their city campus. This marks a significant milestone in the process to modernize public facilities and create a dynamic, mixed-use center that reflects the evolving needs of residents and businesses.

FG and Terra have been meeting with city officials, community leaders, business owners, and residents to collect feedback and continue their collaborative, community-focused redevelopment process.

South Flagler House: not just a beautiful building, but a significant contributor to the future prosperity of West Palm Beach.

This architectural masterpiece, designed by and now being developed by , will likely become the single largest taxpayer in West Palm Beach, with the potential to deliver approximately $30 million to the tax coffers each year.

These vital revenues support city-wide critical initiatives from public education and police & fire to transportation and infrastructure, all essential to the short- and long-term sustainability of the city.

Let’s take schools, for example: Palm Beach County is the country’s 10th largest school district, but unfortunately it recently dropped to a B overall rating, with some schools falling even lower with a D or F.

Contributing millions of dollars annually to the county’s education budget has the potential to improve these rankings, providing a more solid foundation for thousands of children, and sparking a positive chain reaction of upward mobility on a macro level.

A not-so-fun fact: nearly 50% of children in Florida do not read at their respective grade levels. Unfortunately, the statistics are striking that those unable to read at grade level by third grade are at a significantly higher risk of future incarceration and a reliance on welfare. Efforts to improve literacy for the youth of our community has never been more important.

So, yes, this is a pretty building. But it has the potential to be so much more, and we are proud to have worked with such a talented team on this special project.

Last weekend FG had the honor of supporting The Everglades Foundation at their annual ForEverglades event, which spreads awareness and helps raise critical funds for the restoration and protection of Florida’s Everglades.

The Foundation provides scientific research, advocacy, and education, contributing to the protection of biodiversity, water quality, and the overall health of this sensitive and incredibly important environment. It is also home to over 450,000 acres of mangrove forests and more than 350 different animal species - many of which are critically endangered.
