Maybe they will release a little in the next month or two as deals fall through but otherwise the Hometown Heroes program has been used up for 2024 and first time homebuyers will have to wait until they maybe re-fund it in July 2025. Did you know it takes 164.8 Earth years for Neptune to complete one revolution around the sun? Why am I telling you this? ....because its reminds me of the real estate market coming back around. I see homes values starting to slide and I see rates starting to come down too. Several banks have switched from Prime (8.5%) + .50 to Prime - .50. I have seen this all before so I am anxious and concerned with how long this will all take to play out. It only takes Mercury 83 days to revolve around the sun. Maybe we could get some Mercury magic with this market please.

Did you all know that A1A from Fernandina Beach to the tip of Key West is going to be renamed Jimmy Buffett Highway? All 340 miles of Florida along the Atlantic Ocean is going to be named after our favorite son of a son of a sailor!!! That's pretty cool. Vanilla Ice is going to have to change his lyrics to "JBH ...Beachfront avenue!"

I got letter yesterday in the mail from American Express that my information may have been "compromised" due to security breach. This is like the 15th or 20th letter I have gotten in the last 10 about my personal information being potentially stolen. UHaul sent me a letter about this a few months ago. Microsoft, LinkedIn and Facebook warned me a few years ago. I even closed my Home Depot card years back because they said there had been a leak.
I find it annoying and concerning that this world is going "CASHLESS" but they can't even freaking protect our personal information. I like CASH!! I don't like there being a record of everywhere I go and everything I buy. I feel like I am being tracked and stalked for marketing purposes. Thanks for letting me vent. Have a nice weekend. Go spend some cash on something fun. If they don't take cash then go somewhere else. Ha Ha
