📣 Big News for Homebuyers — Trigger Leads Are BANNED (Starting Today!)

If you've ever applied for a mortgage and suddenly your phone started ringing nonstop from lenders you’ve never heard of… you’ve experienced trigger leads.

Good news: That practice has officially been banned starting today.

Credit bureaus can no longer sell your information to random lenders who have no relationship with you just because your credit was pulled for a mortgage application.

✔️ No more surprise calls
✔️ No more aggressive spam texts
✔️ No more “We saw you applied for a mortgage…” from strangers

However, it's important to know:

If you already have a relationship with a lender or mortgage professional (like someone you reached out to directly), they can still communicate with you about your loan.

This new law is designed to stop cold, unsolicited outreach from companies you never contacted in the first place.
