From someone who comes from generations of low income, addictive behaviors, and loves of limitation on what we can achieve, I’ve always been chasing ‘what can I do, to bring my family out of this’ or ‘what can I do to create something for my family that can take care of them for generations’

Now you can be the person that thinks ‘I’m going to be that change’ but thinking means nothing if you aren’t going to actually do something about it. I’ve sought different ways to bring my family out of what they are used to. I’ve chased different avenues to take steps in the right direction. Will I succeed in my life time? I don’t know.

The harsh reality that I’ve come to understand is that you can try really really hard, and still come up short. It’s easy for me to say ‘it’s going to be me, I’m going to be the change’. But, I’m willing to bet that my Dad said the same thing. And I’ll bet even more than his dad also said the same thing. And so on. So what can I do, to guarantee change, since betting everything on myself, has proven to be a low odds gamble.

1️⃣Get life insurance. It’s your only option to promise your family something when you’re gone. No one knows their last day, and if all my eggs were in one basket and that basket was my own achievement that was not finished, they would be left with nothing. That process repeats.

2️⃣Never Stop. Never be Satisfied with yesterday’s accomplishments. Today is a new day.
