We don't expect you to speak the mortgage language, but it can be helpful to have an understanding of what is being talked about. You may have heard the term seller concessions recently. Seller concessions are when the seller agrees to pay part of the buyer's closing costs. These concessions allow a borrower to pay less at closing to make buying a home more affordable. Seller concessions can be beneficial to both the buyer and seller as they get what they need out of the home buying/selling process in today's market.
