What do you think about the economy and rising Rates?
As the FED supposedly work for the American People. At this point, further rate hikes are just outright punitive to the American Consumer. Demand destruction or just "DESTRUCTION"? The American people are being penalized for deficient spending being paid for with debt to the point that even if they printed more money, the value will be impaired by the lack of any offsetting recovery. Are much higher TAXES heading our way? We are at the height of imbalance and further circular policy action is just going to make things worse. As far as recession, the level of Global headwinds and debt could absolutely trigger so much more pain as well as recession. Let's see what comes out of Jackson Hole, but it's sure to be more of the same. Higher rates for longer? We are in FED overcorrection territory, so enough already. The Government is for the people it serves PERIOD! I know we are divided, but some experts are saying this is orchestrated. If it goes too far, all the home values that created implied 'real' wealth could very well course correct. Before you write back about the spectacular job market and low unemployment, that too can change very quickly. The speed of volatility has never been faster than it is right now... or maybe Fed does not work for American people
