Under the 35-year dynamic leadership of Dan Amos, Aflac has not just progressed — it has transformed.

Thanks to Dan’s innovative business sense, commitment to policyholders and philanthropic drive, Aflac has grown to an international provider of valuable products and services.

Oh … and don’t forget Dan’s decision to introduce the Aflac Duck. Today, it’s more than a mascot; it's a symbol of trust with a remarkable 92% consumer recognition rate.

Aflac's sales agents and brokers blew away expectations at their annual meeting, FOCUS, by raising a whopping $770,000 during a charitable auction.

The “auction for a cause” raised 350% more than pre-auction expectations, with all proceeds going to the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center, where it will be used to support treatments and research for kids with pediatric cancer and blood disorders.

Kudos to the entire team for their incredible generosity! Visit https://give.choa.org/aflac to join us in supporting the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.

When Connor's mom joined the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center as a clinical research coordinator, he learned how important research and treatments are to help our patients get better.

When his mom volunteered to shave her head at last year's St. Baldrick's Foundation event to help raise funds for childhood cancer research, Connor sat right next to her and shaved his head, too.

Tomorrow, Connor will volunteer to shave his head once again in honor of our patients with his mom there cheering him on. Learn more: https://www.stbaldricks.org/teams/mypage/136793/2024.

Supporting Mental Health During the Holidays: Expert Advice for Friends, Families, and Coworkers

1. Connect. Healthy connection to others is key for establishing and maintaining long term happiness. Invest in your relationships and grow in your time together.

2. Be present. Distractions like cell phones, television, and computers make it hard to fully engage. Take a break from the electronics and focus on the things that are most important to you.

3. Slow down. Life can become hectic and it’s easy to get wrapped up in our frenetic day to day lives. Taking a few minutes to breathe deeply or even walk around the block can help to reset our intentions and slow down the pace of things.

The holiday season can be stressful. Thanks to Dr. Klosky, Psychologist at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center, for sharing his top three tips for supporting those around you over the upcoming holiday season.
