So if you are an Alfa customer(not just mine)and you have storm damage, go ahead and file a claim. We have adjusters here helping our local adjusters so that we can give our customers the most prompt assistance they deserve. Many times ppl say, well I’m waiting so they can see the worst first, don’t worry about that, we will sort that out but while we have the most help now; go ahead and call your office and file for your damages instead of waiting.

The worst of Isaias is behind us, but many communities are left with downed trees, scattered debris and impassable roads.

While first responders, volunteer fire departments and restoration crews work around the clock to help affected areas, please continue to practice safe post-storm recovery measures.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀
🌀 Avoid downed power lines.
🌀 Watch for flooded roads.
🌀 Check local travel updates.

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆
🌀 Look for — and document — any visible structural damage.
🌀 Clear storm drains and gutters when it's safe to do so.
🌀 Ask your agent or adjuster for guidance on working with licensed contractors.

🌀 Operate portable generators outdoors and away from doors, windows and vents.
🌀 Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible until power is restored.

As the Gulf Coast waits to see what Isaias may bring, we want to encourage you to keep a close eye on weather updates now through the weekend. We also encourage you to take the necessary precautions to mitigate unnecessary risks, including:

🌀 Remove any debris on your property, including any tree limbs or other objects that could damage your home or vehicles. 🏡
🌀 Replace batteries in all flashlights and weather radios. 🔦
🌀 Keep a supply of bottled water and other non-perishable items handy should you lose power for an extended time. 🥫
🌀 Stock your first-aid kit and secure helmets for your family, just in case. ⛑️
🌀 Should heavy winds and/or rain impact your area, please refrain from being outdoors or on the road. It's critical to keep paths clear for our first responders. 🚑
