Action packed day yesterday. The VP cooked breakfast and coffee for his mom yesterday, who he loves dearly! i cut his hair, and then it was time for his flag football team pics and his game! He took his first handoff in the game yesterday and got 5 yards! I was pretty hype! After that The VP and I joined his mom and mom’s fiancée for brunch! Long but fulfilling day. The VP will be 10 in a few months… can’t believe it. The time has flown.. Dude brings me so much joy! He’s a good soul!

Today I was honored to participate in the Virtual Small Business Matters & Entrepreneurship Summit where I served as a speaker in the panel discussion “Creative Capital Solutions for Your Business”.

Sunday funday for real… He is definitely the reason I work as hard as I do. So today was The VP’s first basketball game! He still trying to find his groove but he played heart and that’s all I can ask for! We also have my main man Fabian, his step brother who was in the mix today as well! It was great to see them both out there doing their thing! The blended tribe came together to support both of our little guys today: Papa-bear, mama-bear, step-papa-bear. Good day!

The evolution of me continues! Im seriously laughing as I’m posting this because never in a million years could you have convinced me that I would be out here this early in the morning to play golf. I’m not even sure I believed this to be a real sport! But it’s a great environment of entrepreneurs, business men and women of color, positive thinkers and… It’s actually a pretty cool, dare I say it… sport.
