Just added a Voluntary Life Insurance to a client who recently purchased Group Life for his employees. Cost to him to offer $25K for each employee was $38.50 per month. This covered all 12 employees. They just added extra coverage, paid for by the employees straight from their paychecks at the amount they chose. Great benefit to have to protect the families.

Got word recently that the focus from Big Brother in the LA area is restaurants. They are finding alot of them doing business contrary to the law. Many without the proper insurance. Many without proper payroll service, whether in house or contracted out. Call me to get your business needs taken care of. Don't be a statistic.

Do we really need more drama? Starting in January, there will be about 10,000 people eligible or Medi-care every day for 19 years, according to CBS News.
Think the government can afford to subsidize this? Where will they get the money?
Current Health Reform will not help this.

We have now added an additional service to the menu. Since we are in the business of protecting our clients, we are now giving State Food Saftey Certification training to Food Service establishments.

Did you know that if your children (over 18) work for you, you can be fined if you don't have them on your Work Comp Insurance? Had someone fined $2,000 for not having coverage. They could have been fined $10,000.

Looking at the changes the new legislation has been taking, it looks as though it will hurt nearly everyone if it isn't changed. Let's all contact our legislators and tell them to make it work the way we were promised. As it's written, it doesn't. Don't blame the Dems, The Reps didn't do anything before, so let's make all of them work now.

Just 8 more days until voting. If you like the way this administration has taken us, support them. If you want a change, Vote against them. Just make sure you make your choice. Let's get out there and vote our conscience, not our party. They will usually fail us, since we have found out these past 2 years that they all have their own agenda and care nothing for the people.

Do you realize how your vote will affect the country's future this time like no other? I urge you...vote on "Principle". Once the votes are counted, we'll all have to live with our choices. Don't catch yourself following the same-ole. If you're happy with what this congress and local legislation has done, vote for htem. If not, vote them out.

Just returned from another seminar on the new Health Reform Bill. Rates are going up and it'll be hard to get children covered under a Child-Only plan. Some carriers aren't offering these anymore - for the time being. Could change.
Don't know if you realized, but most of the stuff we all like in the bill was already in place for California. Didn't change much for us in many cases.

Hearing from alot of groups that it's bad to lose your group health grandfather status. How many really know what this means??? I looked it up and it really is no big deal. According to the reports I've seen, staying grandfathered straps employers. Better to make the change. Don't believe the hype. Any comments???
