FNB is celebrating 116 years of service!
FNB Oxford Bank, formerly known as First National Bank, was founded on October 10, 1910.

In 1918, William Faulkner worked in the bookkeeping department. His grandfather, J.W.T. Faulkner, was the bank’s first president. Joseph Parks became the bank’s second president in 1920. Mr. Parks is credited with keeping the Bank open during the Great Depression, something no other Oxford bank managed to accomplish.

Over the years, FNB has expanded to add branches in other areas of town as Oxford has grown. In 2009, FNB entered the Tupelo community, and then began serving Water Valley in 2024.

FNB remains Oxford’s last Hometown Bank. We’re proud to be headquartered right on the Square in Oxford, Mississippi! Join us in celebrating 116 years of history, community, and service!

Universal Banker Spotlight: Meet Nikki!
Nikki is a Universal Banker at our Fairpark Branch in Tupelo! She has been serving our Tupelo Fairpark Branch since December of last year. Fun fact, Nikki is also a published author of over 15 young adult novels!
