I always like a home coverage review to start with a simple question: has anything changed around the house since we last talked?

That could be a renovation, a new roof, a finished room, a home business setup, or just a few bigger belongings you would want accounted for. Most of the time, it is not about making things complicated. It is about making sure the policy still fits the home you are actually living in today.

I always like to remind folks around Oxford and Anniston that coverage does not have to be complicated.

A good review is really just a plain conversation: what has changed at home, what is different with your vehicles, who depends on you, and whether your policy still lines up with real life. Sometimes everything is right where it needs to be. Sometimes one small detail is worth updating.

Either way, I would rather talk it through before renewal than have you guessing.

I know renters coverage is easy to put off, especially when life is busy and you are just trying to keep up with the week. But the things inside your place matter too: furniture, clothes, electronics, kitchen items, and the everyday pieces that make a house or apartment feel like home.

If you rent here around Oxford, Anniston, or anywhere in Calhoun County, it is worth taking a few minutes to understand what renters coverage can do and where it may fit. I am always glad to walk through it in plain English, neighbor to neighbor.

I always like folks to look over auto coverage when life changes in practical ways. New driver in the house, a different vehicle, a longer commute, or even a student taking a car back and forth can all be worth a quick conversation.

Most of the time, the helpful part is not complicated. It is just knowing who is listed, what vehicles are covered, how the deductibles work, and whether anything needs to be updated before you are trying to remember it later.

Around here, most of the conversation really starts with simple questions: who depends on you, what responsibilities would need to be handled, and what kind of plan would help your family feel steady.

It does not have to be a sales pitch or a complicated meeting. Sometimes it is just worth sitting down, talking through where life is right now, and making sure the people you love would have a clear next step.

The Week 1 Alfa Insurance Clark Jinks Agency Player of the Week goes to the Offensive Line!

At Alfa, we PROTECT what matters most — and that’s exactly what these guys did last Friday night. They allowed 0 sacks while helping lead the offense to 365 rushing yards on 34 carries.

The offensive line rarely gets the recognition they deserve, but they were the difference-makers Friday night, driving the defense back and creating opportunities on every play. This award is well deserved!
