This FRIDAY, 5:30 to 6:30pm at Kendall Perkins Park Beverly's Hearty Slice we will be given out FREE Little Caesars pizza, Fruits & vegetables, basketballs and footballs to keep the kids occupied and off the streets! This time we made sure to grab more watermelons 🍉 corn on the cob🌽 and tomatoes. 🍅 Thank you to Alcoa Inc. for volunteering for this event it mean alot! Everyone is welcome and we’ll see you guys on Friday! 🙏🏽 — at Kendall Perkins Park.

(SACRIFICE) I was in a dilemma and was asked if Beverly's Hearty Slice should help 20 families pay their entire Owensboro Municipal Utilities bill are help (100) families pay partial of their bill. I prayed on it and what we decided to do is increase the amount from $30 to $40 dollar vouchers. This Friday we will have 75 OMU vouchers at Kendall Perkins Park and 25 Connect Powered by Kenergy vouchers at our new site Colony Estates. We will also be collaborating with to provide families with resources and contacts for their needs. Green River District Health Department will be in attendance passing out Narcans to prevent drug overdose. And Habitat for Humanity of Owensboro-Daviess County will be present to provide help and resources. We will serve Little Ceasers pizza at all 4 sites! Thank you to OMU and Fraternal Order of Eagles 🦅 for making this all possible for our community!

(350 meals) NO family will go without this year that attends our event, that’s Beverly's Hearty Slice PROMISE. Thank you to our proud sponsor Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline none of this is possible without you. Thank you to Speciality Foods Group /Field Packing for donating extra hams to increase our numbers this year. We will also be giving out coats Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, hot chocolates from Kahawa Java Shop, hats and hygiene products. We will have a raffle ticket drawing for (3) 32” TVs. Owensboro High School girls basketball team, Apollo High School Eaglettes Dance Team and Help Office of Owensboro will be in attendance to volunteer! Owensboro Symphony will be present to play for the community & Only Empire Creations will be present to capture beautiful memories throughout the night. This years event will take place at the Owensboro Convention Center, 5:30 to 7pm. Everyone is welcomed and God Bless!
