At HomeTown, supporting our members goes beyond banking — it’s about investing in their future. Each year, we proudly award scholarships to outstanding student members who are taking the next step in their educational journey.

This year, we awarded three $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors who demonstrated hard work, creativity, and a commitment to their financial future.

Yesterday, some of our very own HomeTown employees had the pleasure of attending the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Business After Hours, hosted by Faribault Transportation.

During the event, attendees learned about the wide variety of services that Faribault Transportation Company provides both locally and nation-wide. They were even treated to a guided motorcoach tour of historic Faribault sites!

Celebrating other local businesses through events like this is what the cooperative spirit is all about — Thanks, Kurt and Lynda for representing HomeTown at the event!

Last Friday, our HomeTown Credit Union team showed up in full Minnesota sports spirit!

With so many of our hometown teams making playoff runs this year, it felt like the perfect time to celebrate.

From jerseys to team colors, our staff brought the energy—and it was a great reminder that being part of a team goes beyond sports. The same camaraderie, support, and shared goals we see on the field are what drive us every day as we serve our members and community through banking.

We are excited to share a special opportunity for HomeTown Credit Union members — During the month of May, our partner, LendKey, is accepting applications for their Scholarship Program, offering 10 $2,000 scholarships, totaling $20,000 to help students achieve their academic goals.

With Education as one of our core values, helping our members reach their educational goals is of upmost importance to us. If you are a HomeTown Credit Union member who is also an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university, we invite you to submit an application!

We would love to see some HomeTown members receive these scholarships — Apply before the May 31 deadline!
