Cooler nights, earlier sunsets, and October right around the corner — it’s officially the season for a good spooky show.

If you’re looking for something new to watch, I recommend Widow’s Bay. It follows a skeptical mayor trying to lead the superstitious residents of a New England island that may—or may not—actually be cursed. It’s mysterious, funny, a little scary, and a great watch for this time of year.

My friend Jay and I took our daughters to the haunted houses this past weekend, keeping one of our favorite Kansas City traditions alive!

This is our third year in a row, and the girls love it. One of their favorite parts? Getting to hold the pet rats belonging to the performer outside the Edge of Hell haunted house!

Visiting Kansas City's haunted houses was one of my favorite Halloween memories growing up, and it's pretty special getting to share that same experience with my daughter. Here's to making memories and keeping fun traditions alive!

College visit season is here!

Last Friday, Ashley, Reece, and I spent the day checking out Mizzou—and, of course, we couldn’t leave without getting a family photo with Truman the Tiger.

It’s pretty special watching your kids start thinking about what comes next and exploring all the possibilities ahead. We had a great day together and made some wonderful memories along the way.
