This past weekend, PLEX Capital had the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work being done by PAL KCK – POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE OF KCKS, Kansas at their annual 2026 PALFEST.

PAL KCK provides a safe and supportive environment for young people ages 8–18, connecting them with mentors and KCK police officers through free programs focused on education, fitness, workforce readiness, leadership and life skills. At its core, the organization is giving young people positive role models, opportunities and a place to belong.

A special thank you to Howie Fleischer of Financial for introducing us to this organization and inviting our CEO, Amanda Villarreal, MBA to attend.

A big thank you to all of the board members, volunteers, mentors, and amazing people behind this organization. The work you are doing is having an immense impact, not only on these children, but on the families, communities, and lives they will one day touch. ❤️
