This week had more highs and lows than I can remember having in awhile. 3 days in a row of 12 hours of work. Deals are hard to keep together. Rates are competitive. Overall buyer/seller sentiment feels full of uncertainty. However through the power of choosing action over fear, intentionally putting myself in situations where I am definitely uncomfortable and reminding myself of that “you never know” what 1 conversation may do to change your business I was able to keep positive momentum. But real talk is - my underlying emotions are feelings of defeat, like I’m not enough, and deep exhaustion. But I have the power to choose my attitude and my mindset.

My mom bought this hat (along with the gold star pin) as a joke for my husband. I decided it was the perfect hat to wear while drinking a glass of wine to end the week.

To my incredible and amazing team, my leaders, my referrals partners, my clients and all of my future connections my heart is truly here to help you build a business, to grow as people, here to help educate you on homeownership, here to help you buy your first home, or your last home, or build for the first time. I’m here for questions and I’m here to listen. My heart is here for PEOPLE.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! I could not be more excited to welcome my good friend and colleague Jarod Temple to our Bell Bank Mortgage team as a Producing Area Manager.

Several years ago, I identified that my true passion professionally is in leadership and helping others grow. Intentional mindset, attitude and choices are things I have actively worked to change. “Be uncomfortable. Think outside the box. Change doesn’t happen by doing things the same way repeatedly. The opposite of fear is action.” These are a few of the phrases I repeat to myself countless times a day. Sometimes opportunity comes in unexpected ways and as a leader it’s my job to not only recognize those but act on them.

This does not mean my role is changing or that I’m no longer at Bell! Jarod and I share similar goals and core values; we value people first and foremost and we both have a huge passion for growth. We are combining our strengths and partnering together to accelerate the growth and market share of Bell Bank Mortgage in the KC Metro Area.

I could not be more grateful that I am a part of an organization that trusts and supports me in ways that are honestly humbling. Jarod we are so excited you are here. Big things to come in 2025!

There are many new faces missing from this photo but today marks my 1 year anniversary with my Bell Bank family. These are my people. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined getting to go to work everyday surrounded by a community of people so incredible. And in one years time we have grown so much as people and as a team. Year 2 = momentum here we come!! I am the lucky one here ❤️ I love you all beyond measure!

First time homebuyers always hold a special place in my heart. Many have stories and memories that I will forever remember. Lori is no exception. On our first call I could hear the excitement in her voice. This was going to be the first time she had bought a home by herself. She found her dream home almost immediately. It takes some strategy to help a buyer win in a multiple offer situation but her offer was accepted! Fast forward just 2 weeks later and Lori was a happy homeowner. Bonus: $1250 in grant funds for Lori, I happened to have the pleasure of working with - by chance - for the second time this summer and I got to visit the most adorable office I have ever seen .
