The most feel good day on our calendar all year, Nancy Perry Day of Caring! 💙

Across our communities, employees supported local nonprofits that make our neighborhoods stronger for United Way of Kaw Valley Nancy Perry Day of Caring. Employees assembled homemade activities for Topeka Public Schools Parents as Teachers, sorted and packaged food for Harvesters and created certificates of completion for guests that complete Life Skills and Trauma Education classes from Topeka Rescue Mission.

We're proud to carry on a tradition of service and grateful for every volunteer and community partner helping make a difference.

The Capitol Federal Foundation® recently presented a donation to The Library Foundation in support of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a program that provides free books each month to children from birth through age five and helps inspire a lifelong love of reading. 📚

"Dolly Parton gave the world so many gifts, but perhaps one of her most lasting gifts is the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to dream," said Capitol Federal® Chairman and CEO John B. Dicus. "We are honored to help carry that dream forward. Every book delivered represents another child discovering a story, learning something new, and imagining what might be possible."

We're proud to support a program that puts books into the hands of young readers and helps spark curiosity, imagination and a love of learning for years to come.
