Kyra Gillette and I have an amazing opportunity as mother and daughter. This summer, we have felt the pull in our heart to go on a mission trip to Mexico through First Church of the Open Bible. As most of you know, we were fulltime missionaries when the kids were young. Kyra is now feeling drawn and searching ministries as an adult and has asked me to join her.
We will be there during the summer from July16-July 24. We will be staying with Puente de Amistad and partnering with them to share the love of Jesus.
We know that the experience will serve not only those in the community we are going to but ourselves as well. We are excited to bring back stories of how we have seen God work.
If you feel so called, I ask that you send your support as well.
The biggest blessing that you can provide would be to include our team and us in your prayers. We ask that you pray for our safe travels, open hearts, the community and for each day to come with the chance to plant the seed of faith.
In addition, we will need to raise $1600 before May 31. If you would like to support us financially please know that it will be used to support those in need. PM us if you’d like to make a financial donation to support this cause.

We are planning our next mission adventure! One last family mission before Kobes 18!!! We are planning to join a local church group to Tijuana to build a family home n feed the homeless n orphans! Pm us if you’d like to know how to partner in prayer n finances!

GILLETTE MINISTRIES PRESENTS: THE OASIS
Our family has resided in Ottumwa for generations. We love this community! Daniel and I were married in 1998 and have worked, played, and raised our own family in the Ottumwa community. In our time, we have seen various needs within our community and our churches. Our Vision is to see EVERYONE, believers and nonbelievers alike, realize their potential and begin to walk at the full height in which God intended for them! How can we do this? Partnering with local churches is a great place to begin! Weekly ministry could include:
• Building up and refreshing the body of Christ through studies, training classes, and weekday worship opportunities.
• Increase communication regarding current ministries
• Help non-believers realize their value and come to know their creator
• Educate the community utilizing various classes such as gardening, cooking, music lessons, Christian counseling and more
• Sharing the love of Christ more effectively
Our goal is to obtain a property to house weekly worship and training sessions. A community ministry calendar can be maintained to promote activities effectively. We can maintain an updated list of local ministries to assist new believers. Current needs include:
• Locations to hold meetings until property becomes available
• Regular supporters
• Committed believers to volunteer time and talents
• Ottumwa ministry events for database

We are in the midwest leading a Summer Music Tour with 8 other individuals! It has been great thus far and God is showing up like crazy! We are currently in Chicago area at a youth camp leading staff worship times and worship for the youth! In 4 days we head to Southeastern Iowa to wind up the tour! Today is a day of rest after 7 shows in 7 days!
