West Pointe Bank will never call asking you to share your online banking credentials, files, or PINs.

Using "remember me" or auto-save features for passwords & logins eliminates an extra layer of security and can expose your accounts to serious risk, including unauthorized transfers and payments. Always enter your credentials manually when logging into your account.

If a breach to your computer or debit card should occur, timely reporting of suspicious activity significantly increases the chance of recovering funds.

Attention PayPal users! We have seen a significant amount of fraud in relation to PayPal transactions. As a result, we have temporarily blocked all DEBIT CARD PayPal transactions. You are still able to link your West Pointe Bank Checking Account to your PayPal account and complete transactions that way. Also, be sure to update your password frequently!

Dating and romance fraud happens through dating sites and social media accounts. Con artists create fake profiles with fictional names, pictures & professions. They often claim to live nearby but are currently working out of the country and unable to meet in person. They use details from your own social media account to create common interests and initiate conversation. Once they have gained your trust, they will ask for money, gifts or bank information. Often, there is some sort of emergency, or they want to come home to visit you but lack the money to get back. Never send money to someone you haven't met. Because you are emotionally invested at this point, your judgement may be clouded. Slow down, think things through, and follow your head not your heart.

Warning Signs:
* They quickly develop strong feelings after speaking only a few times.
* They quickly ask to move communication to a more private setting, like texts or phone calls.
* Messages are poorly written or vague.
