Our annual ASB tailgate lunch is one of our favorite traditions, bringing employees together to celebrate the unofficial end of summer and the start of another exciting fall sports season.
We wish everyone a fun and relaxing Labor Day weekend! We'll be here for our normal Saturday hours tomorrow and back again Tuesday.

We are hiring! Our Lamoni location is looking for a full-time Financial Services Representative.

Position Summary: Primary responsibilities for this position will provide a variety of customer service functions involving the receipt and payment of money and stopping fraudulent activity at the front line. Work involves constant and direct dealing with bank customers and requires the ability to communicate tactfully. The candidate may also be required to provide support for other operational areas of the bank as needed.

Our Final spotlight goes to David Loiler! 👏
David graduated from Winterset High School, where he was involved in swim, drama, and choir.
Many of our Winterset customers may also recognize David from the American State Bank team! 🏦 David served as our MOC student at the Winterset branch since June 2025 and became a familiar face to customers.
This fall, he is headed to Iowa State University.🌪️ While he is still exploring his exact major, he has an interest in Engineering and hopes to one day become a Robotics Engineer.
It's been a privilege to have David part of our team and are excited to see him take this next step. Congratulations, David! We are cheering for you!
