Common signs of a scam include someone claiming to be from an organization you know, saying there is a problem or a prize, pressuring you to act right away, or telling you to pay in a specific way.
If something doesn’t feel right, take a moment before responding. Talk with a family member, friend, or trusted local contact. Please share this information with others in our community so we can all look out for one another.
