Orting High School and the Farmers Insurance Jerome Dickson Agency would like to present Isaiah Gilcrist, Kaitlyn Moan, Parker Jeffries and Tanner Hebel as this week's Athletes of the Week for May 23rd-30th. Isaiah, Track, placed 2nd in the WIAA State Championships with a personal best Javelin throw of 174'11".
Kaitlyn Moan, Track, placed 5th in the WIAA State Championships with a Javelin throw of 121'6".
Parker and Tanner both played on the Baseball team that placed 3rd in the WIAA State tournament. In four games Parker hit .364, going 4 for 11, 1 base on balls and had 7 RBI's. Tanner hit .429, went 6 for 14, hit 2 doubles, 1 Base on Balls and had 5 RBI's.

Orting High School and the Farmers Insurance Jerome Dickson Agency would like to present Johnny Turner, Norah Fenton, Ryann Polly and Violet Campanile as Athletes of the Week for May 4th-24th. Ryann Polly, Fast Pitch, on May 8th against Eatonville went 3 for 4 with 1 RBI, 1 Base on Balls, 1 Double and 1 Stolen Base.
Violet Campanile, Track, ran in the SPSL 2A Championships May 13th-15th. She place 3rd in the 200 meter, 2nd n the 4x200 and 1st in the 4x100.
Norah Fenton, Fast Pitch, on May 15th against Sequim went 1 for 2, scored, 3 Base on Balls, scored 4 runs and had 3 Stolen Bases.
Johnny Turner, Baseball, on May 15th against Sequim went 2 for 4, had 5 RBI's, 1 double and had 1 triple.
Kai McManus, Track, on May 20th at the 2A District 3 WCD Championships High Jumped 6'2" to place 1st.

Orting High School and the Farmers Insurance Jerome Dickson Agency would like to congratulate TJ and Dakota Anderson as this week's Athletes of the Week. TJ and Dakota are brothers who both won wrestling State titles in their weight classes. Dakota is a freshman who wrestled at the 150 pound division. TJ is a Junior wrestling at the 126 pound division, he is now a 2x State Champion. Both helped their team win the title as well. Orting High School has now won the team state title 5x in a row!
