Axiom44 Hurricane Quick-Check
Before the storm has a name, have a plan.
1. Document the home
Take a quick video of the exterior, roofline, windows, pool area, garage, and every room inside.
2. Save the important stuff
Keep your insurance policies, IDs, mortgage info, receipts, and valuables list in the cloud.
3. Know your coverage
Check your hurricane deductible. Confirm whether you have flood insurance. Storm surge is not the same as wind damage.
4. Secure the outside
Bring in furniture, grills, planters, toys, umbrellas, and anything that can become a projectile.
5. Prep for 72 hours
Water, food, medications, pet supplies, flashlights, batteries, chargers, cash, fuel, and first aid.
6. Have a family plan
Know where you’ll go, how you’ll communicate, and what you’ll do if power or cell service is down.
7. After the storm, document first
Take photos before cleaning up. Save receipts. Be cautious with door-to-door contractors.
The goal isn’t panic. It’s preparation.
Clarity. Confidence. Protection.
