It’s called a bridge loan, and it can help qualified homeowners buy their next home before their current one sells. 🏠

Essentially, it can allow you to use some of the equity in your current home to help with the purchase of your next one, so you don’t necessarily have to wait for one transaction to happen before starting the next.

Think your credit score means you can’t buy a home? Don’t assume that just yet. 👀 If one lender told you no because of your credit, ask which score model they used.
With VantageScore 4.0 now available on certain eligible Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans, some borrowers may have another path to have their mortgage file evaluated. That doesn’t guarantee approval or erase other credit, income, debt, or underwriting requirements, but it’s worth knowing what options are actually available before you walk away from the home search.
