Water infrastructure projects often require significant funding, and understanding the financing options available can make a difference.💰💧

The WIFIA Program, operated by the EPA, provides flexible, low-cost financing for a wide range of wastewater, drinking water, and stormwater projects.

WIFIA can finance up to 49% of anticipated project costs, or up to 80% for small communities, and its funding can be combined with other sources such as State Revolving Funds, municipal bonds, and federal or state grants.

Nearly 20 years in the water and wastewater industry laid the groundwork for what would become RF Environmental Services, Inc. 💧🚧

Thad Buckley, President of RF Environmental, shares how these years of experience in the water and wastewater industry eventually led him to start RF Environmental in 2016. After earning his mechanical engineering degree from the University of Florida and gaining years of experience in the water and wastewater field, Thad took the leap into ownership during an important time in his life.

The name RF was chosen in honor of his father, Ralph Frank, who passed away just months before Thad founded the company. Today, Thad carries that legacy with him by striving to do right by his people and his clients while building a company he can be proud of.

We're proud to work alongside contractors like RF Environmental and even more proud to hear the stories and values that shape the people behind the companies we work with.

Here's a look at the transformation happening by Heavy Civil Support LLC on its Port St. Lucie project.🚧

Owner/COO Tom Shipman takes us through one of four weir walls HCS is installing. The team installed nearly 200 feet of sheet pile on this wall to replace infrastructure that had deteriorated and contributed to sediment moving downstream along with temporary cofferdams around existing storm drains.

And... they're doing it ahead of schedule. Tom shares that the project is currently tracking roughly 100 to 150 days ahead, reflecting the level of ex*****on HCS strives for on every job. This project is just one example of the specialized sheet pile, permanent and temporary foundation work Heavy Civil Support brings to the field. Stay tuned to the end to get a glimpse at the before and after footage that puts the job into perspective.

At JCA, our relationships go deeper than bonds. People love calling this a "relationship business"... but what does that actually look like in practice?

For us, it's showing up for each other outside of work. It's JCA backing small businesses like , with members from our JCA family and contractors like SanPik and SGS Contracting Services all pitching in for the same community. It's the kind of relationship that doesn't end when the project does or the bond gets issued.

We love seeing clients and partners like Blue Star Roofing and Eastern Insurance Group show up for A1 Academy right alongside us. When everyone you work with genuinely believes in lifting each other up, that's when it really pays off for all of us.
