A HOPE NATIONAL NIGHTMARE IS ENDING
Eight years ago, less couple of weeks, close friend called to tell of new History Channel program on Nostradamus, so yea sure. Piece was absolute gunk but had to check reference, felt compelled. I panicked what to do, how to prevent this apocalyptic outcome. That Steven King novel, made into a movie starring Martin Sheen, the one the police officer was reading when I came to report my car stolen - The Dead Zone, would, known what I know today, might have considered option, but no point in revisionist history now. Besides that's what Republicans are good at just ask Florida's governor.

In Georgia it is now a crime to offer a voter standing in one of the long voting lines (as access to ballots has been quashed) a GLASS OF WATER!
This is where African Americans were when Marcus Garvey entered the scene 1915-17. By 1920 at his first convention held in Madison Square Garden attendees numbered over 25,000. Yes, he was a threat to statue quo, he was surveilled, arrested of the trivial offense of mail fraud [something POTUS #45 does daily] and imprisoned in 1925.
Here he is at a rally in 1924, that my great uncle standing to his left. Some say he was invited to Harlem a year before to interview for top UNIA position as Garvey knew conviction was near. A fearsome presence and powerful orator he too used his prowess to uplift and unite the downtrodden minorities of this richest of all nations.
Today we need not only a Remembrance but a Rebirth.

BITCOIN Neutral at the Neckline
Will there be a continuance of the To the Moon rally or will price fail to hold crucial technical level [THIS CONUNDRUM APPLIES TO BIG TECH AS WELL].
While price action looks bearish with trendlines and angles negative we've been in that situation before in this rally. But back then at $24k it was an existential struggle boosted by announced ETF approvals and Wal St money flooded into crypto. We are now on the other side of the equation as reversal in BTC money flows threatens to beget a period of consolidation at lower prices as over zealousness washed [rather violently] out.
The meme maniacs on Twitter captivatingly seducing a Buy & Hold movement will once again draw corraled sheep to slaughter as Wall St is adept in making money both sides of the trade: 'Bulls, Bears, Pigs' only one gets slaughtered goes the saying.
So Quo Vadis 'Wither thou goest'? I never hesitate to point out when Chicago Futures Exchange got involved Bitcoin collapsed 86% before current rebound.

Celebrating 5th anniversary of my Gold call on Antonia's radio program where we made the market. Thanks Antonia for having me on. Certainly calling for Gold to rise 45% over the next two years to new all-time high was a bold stroke. As the next day was Presidents' Day holiday, then as now, market was closed. However next morning Gold streaked after the open to new high for the move, before slumping Friday into a four month correction then launching a fourteen month rally to $2,000 and ATH.
Since then it has moved sideways, except for a months long downward spike responding to Fed's unprecedented rate rise. Currently trying to push higher but unable to convincingly cross Gann fanline (into white space above).
While reports of central banks buying have supported prices; it may take the increased prosperity afforded Indian women as manufacturing flees from China to India, to support jewelry buying this wedding season.
No kidding, market professionals have long followed trends of Indian wives' buying for wedding season.
Course these days I prefer biotech stocks to Gold. In fact the're better than Gold. Our best pick is Pharma giant Eli Lilly, LLY, riding the crest of the tidal wave of enthusiasm over weight-loss drugs. We feel this trend has years to go as it disrupts the medical establishment.

ARK ALERT - Some Facebook members may have noticed ads for the Cathie Wood company, how she's made millions handles billions through her managed ETF'S. It's all true. However performance since inception does not stress how badly the funds performed in the bear market of 2022. Accompanying chart demonstrates flagship ETF, symbol ARKK has fallen by 75% since the top, trapping many 'follow the leaders' investors in the downward spiral.
The cultist following stems from the performance of one stock Tesla whose meteoric performance is unrepeatable. Tesla is no longer the fund groups largest holding although still sizeable. Both securities share the same chart pattern, that of a busted bubble.
ROKU currently the largest holding is not likely to perform nearly as well. ARK's best chance to return to the median range (up 100% from here) is if Bitcoin actually lives up to promise, her large position in Coinbase (COIN) would serve the portfolio well in that instance. As for Bitcoin, it too has the dubious pattern of a bubble busted. Now although we recommended Bitcoin @$1,500 in May 2017, on Manhattan radio, we have invested and taken profits several times and in no way consider it a sure thing, going ever higher.
On these Facebook ads in the comments one person asked the quintessential question, 'If you're such a fantastic investor why are you reaching into the individual investor market?', in essence soliciting the little guy. It is a good question.

CHINA's economy approaching entropy. In econo-politics, the phrase is used to describe a large scale collapse. In practice a Command economy or Socialism has much in common with other authoritan regimes such as the Divine Right of Kings. Any system with a titular head directing all economic activity is doomed to failure. It is the very will of the Collective (to use that iconic Communist catchphrase) that in the end utilizes Adam Smiths "blind hand" to spur Innovation and creativity. It is the same sclerotic thinking exhibited by Chairman Xi today that doomed the Soviet Union to also-ran status and ultimate dissolution decades ago.
That is why money is fleeing China any way possible, why the Blockchain is at capacity with money transferences. Real estate crisis, youth unemployment at 25%, prices falling into deflationary spiral, economists predicting a more dour outcome than Japan's lost decade of the 1990's when real estate and stock bubbles burst simultaneously, from which they have never fully recovered. These are the reasons we say that Hong Kong stocks, despite dropping 50% since 2020, could fall another 50% in the coming year as centralized government is unequipped to handle crises before them. Lashing out at neighbors as autocrats tend to, deflecting blame and uniting sizeable portion of populace with patriotism their preferred recourse.
