The last 6 pounds of my weight loss journey were the hardest to shed, but I stayed determined and now I’m officially down 42 pounds. Huge shoutout to my guy for pushing me, first I was watching his journey and it inspired me, then we started putting in the work in the gym together, so its up from here!

Over the years, I’ve become a workaholic, sacrificing my own health to always be available for others I wanted to dedicate every waking moment to them, ensuring they knew they had someone fully committed to their success, someone available to answer questions, provide motivation, and even offer support that felt like therapy sessions, all to help them reach their own version of success…. I also was dedicating myself to the mission, I made a promise to my family that if I dedicated 3-5 years building Dynasty that I would be able to dedicate more time with them…. I had to mentally prepare myself to step away and hit the gym. What I’ve learned is that even when I stepped out to go to the gym, my team still delivered at a high level and the people who truly care about you want you to be healthy so you can enjoy the fruits of your hard work. 42 pounds down is a big win for me, but the job’s not finished. Next goal is another 20 pounds and I’m ready for the challenge.

You’ll have to push harder than you ever thought possible. You’ll fall, fail, cry, and second-guess yourself. But here’s the truth: that struggle? It’s what makes the success so meaningful. It’s what builds gratitude for the blessings you receive.

As Proverbs 16:3 says, ‘Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.’ Trust the process, trust the dream, and most importantly, trust the Giver of the dream.

Over the years, I’ve observed that many people expect success without putting in the necessary work. This mindset is often fueled by platforms that sell the dream that success comes easily. However, the reality is that you have to fail your way to success. You need to wake up and get after it, even on days when you’d rather stay in bed. You will experience losses in family, relationships, time, and sometimes miss your goals. Don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great. There will be times when you shouldn’t watch the clock but do what it does: keep going.

If you’re somewhere in the middle of your journey to success, be encouraged. Keep working, keep failing, but learn from every experience. In the end, you will win.
