Some of the most important people are the ones you never see. ❤️
Most of you probably don't know Lydia Lopez. You haven't seen her in our videos, at the front of our events, or all over our social media. Lydia works behind the scenes in operations and recently began in processing — and that's exactly where she usually prefers to be. But I need everyone to know who she is today.

For the last three months, while we were building the Homebuyer Education Center, Lydia was right there beside me. And when I say beside me, I mean hand in hand, every step of the way.

She worked tirelessly helping me remodel this place from the ground up. Long days, late nights, moving furniture, putting things together, changing plans, fixing problems, making endless trips, and doing whatever needed to be done — all while still doing the job she actually gets paid to do. 😂

There were plenty of exhausted “what the hell were we thinking?” moments along the way. But she kept showing up. So this picture of the two of us behind the desk on Grand Opening day isn't just another event photo to me.

It's the picture I wanted.

Because when I look at this center, I know how much of Lydia is in it. People will walk through these doors and never know about the hours she spent helping create what they're seeing.

But I know.

Lydia, I had the vision, but you rolled up your sleeves and helped me make it real. You never needed recognition, never asked for credit, and never needed your name attached to any of it.
But you deserve to be seen.

Thank you for the last three months. Thank you for every long day, every crazy idea you went along with, every problem you helped me solve, and every single time you simply showed up and said, “Okay, what are we doing next?”

We built this together. And I will never forget that. ❤️
