Here is another update: With the supply chains affecting everyone in the USA, the home building and construction industry is being hit hard. There is a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving if you are already in your dream home but for those needing a place to call home, there isn't much out there to change lives.

There has been little changes over the last year from 2020 to 2021 in terms of "Months of Supply of Inventory." Just a slight uptick in the amount of homes, however, not enough to make a dent in the homes needed for the buyers in Utah County. Bottom line is the buyers in Utah County and Salt Lake County are in need of your listing.

You can see that "The percent of Original list price Received" has also risen due to the urgency created by listing agents. "Bidding wars" are typical and will drive the list price received up.

I spent some time with this great gentleman today at the Catholic community services up in Salt Lake. He is helping Afghanistan refugees land Saufley here in Salt Lake City. Nielsen Property Group wanting to help him Locate duplexes, townhomes, condos and apartment buildings where these refugees can stay. He has 50 new families in need today. The state of Utah Has set aside funds for long-term housing. Any help would be fantastic and much appreciated. do you know of any investors or Airbnb‘s that would like long-term and short term residents?  I love my job.

Sales Prices have Increased a total of 25% in both Utah and Slat Lake Counties. That Is great news for those of you hoping to sell. Inventory Is still a problem In both counties. Only One month supply of inventory. In a normal economy, 3-4 months would be considered normal. Crazy times!

Salt Lake,Davis and Utah Counties continue to lead the country In Business, In State Migration and , new home sales. We are seeing an uptick on homes on new home Inventory but still not enough to stop the madness during a bid war.

The real estate market Is still hot. Check out the days on market from homes that sold In 2020 and compare that with 2021. Call me if you need to sell your Investments or personal home. We have an awesome marketing plan that on average beats these market stats by 1/2.
