La Carreta history.
- Alejandra (owner) had a long life dream of owning her own restaurant where she could could do what she loves, cooking and introduce Perus fine meals with friends and strangers that were willing to give it a try. In 1992 that dream came true with the help of family and friends, first starting out in a small building in Orem, UT. Alejandra's goal was to make her restaurant a pl
ace where friends and families could enjoy each others company in a relaxing and professional environment with the feel of a Peruvian atmosphere. Alejandra's business grew to the point of where the small location wasn't big enough to feed the fans of La Carreta. La Carreta is now located in Orem, UT right across the University Mall, behind the U.S Bank and Sizzlers. What is Peruvian Food?
