We’re grateful to be part of the Wilsonville community and look forward to many more summers together.💙
Thank you for the music!🕺

🎉 Meet our Community Giveback Employee of the Month, Julia Reitzer! 🎉

Julia, a beloved member of the Maps team and Branch Manager at our West Salem Branch, brings enthusiasm and heart to everything she does—whether she's mentoring future community leaders or volunteering to launch the T-shirt cannon. 😉

As last month's Community Giveback Employee, Julia chose to donate her $100 award to CASA of Marion County, an organization that advocates for children in foster care. It's a cause so close to her heart, she even joined their nonprofit board!

"Community service is something I genuinely enjoy because it gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others," says Julia. "Whether it's one hour or an entire day, I've seen firsthand how even a small investment of time can have a lasting impact. Giving back brings a sense of purpose and connection, and I truly appreciate that Maps not only supports community involvement, but actively encourages us to get out there and strengthen the communities where we work and live."

Thank you, Julia, for bringing your energy, compassion, and willingness to say "yes" wherever you're needed. We're proud to have you representing Maps in our community. 💙

Not all heroes wear capes, but some do! Case in point, these Maps superheroes who showed up for CASA last weekend! 👟🏃

We want to take a minute to shout out the team members who participated in the CASA Superhero Run/Walk last weekend alongside 200+ other runners, walkers, and volunteers. Together, they helped raise funds and advocate for the important work CASA does for children and families in our community.

So, thanks to everyone who ran, walked, cheered, volunteered, or helped make the event such a success. We’re always proud to see our team show up for a great cause—especially in costume. ⭐😁

At this month's 🍩Donuts at the Dot🍩, we had the opportunity to meet Alexis Aviles and Jacqueline Brooks from Youth Villages Oregon, a nonprofit introduced to us by our new VP of Business Marketing, Colby Schlicker (who also serves on the organization's board of directors).

Youth Villages works with children, young adults, and families facing some of life's toughest challenges. Through intensive in-home support, crisis services, and programs that help young people successfully transition to adulthood, the organization helps keep families together, build stability, and create brighter futures. Since 2011, the Oregon team has helped more than 5,000 youth and families across the state.🙌

Thanks to Colby's connection with the organization, we had the opportunity to learn more about the critical services Youth Villages provides and the growing need they see across the state. And, as Jacqueline shared, "It's heartbreaking how much need there is."

So, thank you, Alexis and Jacqueline, for taking the time to tell us about your work and the impact Youth Villages is making across Oregon. We're proud to support organizations and individuals who make it their mission to help local youth and families thrive.💙🤘

On Wednesday, the Maps Community Foundation hosted a networking event at Liberty Theater in Astoria. We had a wonderful time welcoming nonprofit leaders, community partners, and organizations from across the North Coast to learn more about the Foundation and our community giving programs.💙 Thank you to our Astoria and Seaside teams for their enthusiasm, support, and community connections, and to everyone who took the time to attend. We're looking forward to the partnerships, conversations, and opportunities that grow from evenings like this. We'd also like to like to extend send a special thank-you to Ft. George Brewing and Clatsop Distributing for our beer and wine, Gaetano's for the excellent catering, and Chris, Jennifer, and Joey from the Liberty Theater for helping us bring the community together in such a beautiful, memorable setting!🥹

The June American Red Cross blood drive may be over, but its impact is just beginning. ❤️ Hosting regular blood drives is one of the many ways Maps employees put their commitment to community into action. It's a simple act that can have an extraordinary impact.🥹 Thanks to everyone who donated, and an extra-big thanks to Alex M. from our Investment team, who helped coordinate such a successful event!👍
