On Wednesday, the Maps Community Foundation hosted a networking event at Liberty Theater in Astoria. We had a wonderful time welcoming nonprofit leaders, community partners, and organizations from across the North Coast to learn more about the Foundation and our community giving programs.💙 Thank you to our Astoria and Seaside teams for their enthusiasm, support, and community connections, and to everyone who took the time to attend. We're looking forward to the partnerships, conversations, and opportunities that grow from evenings like this. We'd also like to like to extend send a special thank-you to Ft. George Brewing and Clatsop Distributing for our beer and wine, Gaetano's for the excellent catering, and Chris, Jennifer, and Joey from the Liberty Theater for helping us bring the community together in such a beautiful, memorable setting!🥹

Last night, we were proud to serve as a premier sponsor of the Crystal Apple Awards, celebrating the incredible educators and school employees who help shape the future of Salem and Keizer students.🍎
This year, teachers, parents, principals, coworkers, and students nominated a record-breaking 108 outstanding local educators and support staff for the 2026 awards. The energy along the red carpet was electric—with cheering crowds, noisemakers, and creative signs welcoming each nominee as they entered the event.
One of the most inspiring moments of the evening came during Superintendent Andrea Castañeda’s closing remarks, when she pivoted her speech to call attention to a young attendee wearing a shirt that read, “Hope Starts Here.” It was a fitting reflection of the hope and encouragement educators bring to students every day.🌈
So, congratulations to all of this year’s nominees and the twelve 2026 Crystal Apple recipients. We’re proud to be a part of a community that celebrates school employees so wholeheartedly. Here’s to the educators, support staff, and school communities that help students thrive every day.💙

Last week, at our May Donuts at the Dot, we met Sydney Clenenger, Director of Development for the Dental Foundation of Oregon. They were introduced to us through Flor and Johnny from our Wilsonville branch. 💙

Sydney told us all about the Foundation’s work to support the thousands of children across Oregon who struggle with dental pain and decay—and the incredible impact of the Tooth Taxi program. 🦷🚕

The mobile dental clinic is fully equipped with the tools, technology, and staff—including a full-time dentist and dental assistants—needed to provide care on-site at schools and camps across Oregon. Since launching in 2008, the Tooth Taxi has provided more than $9 million in free dental care to children across the state.

So, let's hear it for Sydney and everyone involved with the Dental Foundation of Oregon and the Tooth Taxi! We’re proud to support the life-changing work they do to help remove barriers to care for children and families across Oregon. 🎉
