Happy Birthday to a team member who has been by my side since day one. When she was 6 she demonstrated on microphone how she helped answer the phones if we were all on a line in front of a huge room of top agents. She brings energy and fresh ideas. She works hard every week to serve our community with love. She hates to clean up her desk area. She’s my mini me in many ways and especially in these ways. 🤪 Happy Birthday, Avery! The Eagle Team is headed to the Jersey Shore for our annual Fall Planning & Training Retreat!

We’re trading our desks for a little sand, strategy, and team bonding as we sharpen our skills, strengthen our systems, and make plans to serve YOU even better! ❤️

Protect your BOO. Insure your BOO CREW with BOO-tiful Protection. And whatever you do, don’t leave your family in a GRAVE situation. 💀

The pumpkins are silly. The reason behind them isn’t.

We’re one of 24 states with State Farm phone issues today. Hopefully we’re fully back up and running soon. Texting IS working, and we can also read Voicemails and can respond by text. Plus our door is open and we’re fully stocked with your favorite candy bars. Thanks for understanding. ❤️

I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on my identity lately, and I see more and more that God has chosen me to raise baby eagles. 🦅

Many have flown the coop and are spreading their wings in new and exciting places. And I’m realizing my job was never to keep them in my nest forever. It’s to teach them, encourage them, feed them words of love and truth, and then let them fly. ❤️

My current flock is especially adorable. And it seems to me they bear a striking resemblance to their work mama… one in particular. 😍🥰😂

Have you heard of the Half-Tank Rule? ⛽️

A friend told me about it while sitting beside me, completely appalled as my low-fuel light came on. 😂 Apparently, she was raised to never let her gas tank get below half.

I fact-checked her, because of course I did. 🤪 While some of the reasons we’ve heard over the years are debatable, regularly running your vehicle nearly empty really isn’t a great habit.

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized…

Maybe the Half-Tank Rule isn’t just good advice for our cars.

How often do we wait until our own tank is completely empty before we refill it?

We wait until we’re exhausted to rest.
Overwhelmed to ask for help.
Disconnected to make time for people we love.
Spiritually dry to seek God.

What if we stopped treating “empty” as the signal to refill?

Maybe half a tank is the better warning light. ❤️

So here’s your Sunday reminder from the girl who still needs to stop for gas:
Don’t wait for empty. Refill while you still have something left in the tank. ⛽️🦅
