Some good reminders!!

A note from our Trauma Team:

As students head back to school this week and with the harvest season quickly approaching, drivers should expect more school buses and slow moving vehicles on roads.

🚌 Watch for school buses. Slow down and be prepared to stop. When the bus has its lights flashing or stop arm extended, you must stop.

🚜 Watch for slow-moving vehicles. Never pass in a no-passing zone or when visibility is limited by fog.

📵 Avoid distractions. Keep your eyes on the road and your attention on driving.

🚶‍♀️🚲 Watch for pedestrians and bicyclists.

A few extra minutes on the road is worth it when it helps everyone get where they’re going safely. Slow down. Stay alert. Share the road.

Summer storms can strike without warning, leaving you and your loved ones in the dark. Here are a few things you should think through and have ready!

What can you do before a storm arrives?

- Build your emergency kit – include essentials like a flashlight, water, non-perishable food, a phone charger and a first-aid kit.

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day! Let's honor and remember all the brave men and women who have served our country. Let’s take a moment to remember their sacrifices and the freedom they fought to protect!
