Our established State Farm Insurance office in Opelousas, Louisiana is looking for a dependable, motivated Licensed Insurance Representative / Customer Service Representative to join our team.
We have a long-standing customer base and an experienced team, and we’re looking for someone who can step in, hit the ground running, and help us continue providing the personal service our customers have come to expect.
🏆 State Farm Experience? We Want to Talk to You!
Previous State Farm agency experience is highly preferred.
If you’ve worked in a State Farm office before, you already understand the systems, products, workflows, and customer expectations that make an agency successful. Your experience could allow you to step into this position with minimal training and immediately make an impact.
We’re also happy to consider experienced insurance professionals from other agencies who have the right combination of licensing, customer service skills, and insurance knowledge.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be an important part of the day-to-day operation of the agency, including:
📞 Helping customers by phone, email, and in person
🏠 Assisting with Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Life, and other insurance needs
📝 Processing policy changes, documents, payments, and service requests
🤝 Building strong relationships with existing customers
🔎 Identifying opportunities to help customers with additional insurance needs
📋 Following up on customer requests and outstanding items
💻 Maintaining accurate customer and policy information
🎯 Supporting the agent and team in meeting agency goals
❤️ Providing the kind of personal, hometown service that customers remember
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
Licensed in Louisiana Property & Casualty insurance
Experienced in an insurance agency environment
Preferably experienced with State Farm
Professional, dependable, and organized
Comfortable working independently while also being a team player
Friendly and confident when working with customers
Able to multitask in a busy office
Someone who takes pride in doing things correctly and taking care of people
Life & Health licensing is a plus, but not required.
