Ontonagon IT & Processing LLC (“OnIT”) was founded in 2018 and acquired by ON IT OZ Fund LLC, a Qualified Opportunity Zone Fund, in 2019. Founded by insurance professionals with a long track record in acquiring and managing insurance businesses, OnIT is positioned to assist independent agencies and other insurance organizations to grow rapidly and efficiently.
Ontonagon, Michigan was founded by pioneers in 1845 and grew as a prosperous hub for the region’s mines and forestry businesses. It is home to many generations of skilled engineers and technicians with a strong work ethic. We are in close proximity to Michigan Technological University, Northern Michigan University, and Gogebic Community College, providing a deep pool of talented and motivated professionals.
