Congratulations to Linda Eckstedt, Anderson State Bank, who recently celebrated 50 years in community banking! On June 7, 1976, Linda walked through the doors as a young teller, ready to begin what would become one of the most remarkable careers in Anderson State Bank’s history. As her responsibilities grew from teller to cashier to vice president, Linda’s impact grew right along with them. Over the next five decades, her knowledge, dedication and unwavering commitment to excellence helped shape not only the bank, but the people who have had the privilege of working alongside her.

Celebrating 50 Years of Service — Linda Ekstedt

In a year when Anderson State Bank celebrates 150 years of serving our community, it is humbling to recognize that Linda Ekstedt has been part of our story for one‑third of the bank’s entire existence. Few institutions are blessed with an employee whose career becomes so deeply interwoven with their identity and for us, that person is Linda.

On June 7, 1976, Linda walked through our doors as a young teller, ready to begin what would become one of the most remarkable careers in Anderson State Bank’s history. Over the next five decades, her knowledge, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence helped shape not only the bank we are today, but the people who have had the privilege of working alongside her.

As her responsibilities grew from Teller to Cashier to Vice President Linda’s impact grew right along with them. In every role, she brought exceptional skill, integrity, and leadership. And no matter the title, she carried the same joyful spirit, conscientious work ethic, and genuine care for others that have defined her from day one.

You simply could not ask for a more dedicated or uplifting employee. Her coworkers adore her. Our customers trust and love her. At Anderson State Bank we have been truly blessed to share 50 wonderful years with someone who embodies the very best of humanity.

As Linda prepares to retire at the end of this year (yes really retire this time), we celebrate her extraordinary contributions, her kindness, her professionalism, and her heart. We thank God for Linda for her service, her friendship, and the legacy she leaves behind.

Congratulations, Linda, on 50 years of excellence. You will always be part of the Anderson State Bank family.
