There’s a reason you’ll see plenty of umbrellas around Altra today! Our team is repping the Little Man Under the Umbrella, a symbol of the credit union movement and what it stands for: supporting and protecting members through life’s financial ups and downs.

Today, we’re wearing it proudly as we celebrate 78 years of International Credit Union Day and this year's theme: ‘A Steady Signal in a Noisy World'.

One day and countless acts of service! ❤️

On Monday, Altra employees traded their desks for volunteer projects during our annual Altra Gives Back Day. Across the communities we serve, the Altra team spent the day supporting local organizations through projects big and small, from putting together care kits and cleaning up outdoor spaces to helping with painting, and much more!

Here are just a few of the ways we were proud to give back and support our communities.

Our employees are here to support and guide you in all your banking needs. A special shoutout to Melodie A in Lindale, TX for making a lasting impact on one of our members!

“She was relatable and real. I've never been so comfortable in a meeting. All my questions were answered in a way I could understand. I didn't feel like I was being judged and interviewed. She was knowledgeable and amazing.” –Susan E.
