Things are heating up at the office! Unfortunately that’s because our AC is currently down 😳🥵. Had to go buy a bunch of box fans so no one quit 😂.

It makes me think of that old Sears commercial from the 90s. You remember that one? Where they’re miserable in their hot kitchen but the husband keeps putting off calling anyone (because who wants to immediately fix their situation?). He says he’ll call later today, but the wife says “you’ll call now”, to which the husband smartly agrees “I’ll call now”. And then Sears comes out and fixes the AC and they’re happy while discussing tomorrow’s weather. The husband says tomorrow will be “ ‘nother scorcher!” which makes the wife look at the camera and emphatically say “cool!” Anyone remember that one? Classic 90s commercial that’s seared into my brain. No? Just me? Cool. (No pun intended).

Come back tomorrow for more ramblings about other companies’ commercials. Or maybe more pictures of Milo. Probably dependent on whether the AC is fixed or not.

We are extremely excited to announce we are finalists for News 8 Now / News 8000’s Best of La Crosse County in the Best Insurance Company category!

I don’t know if it’s the adorable puppy pictures, bad jokes, or my awesome, over-caffeinated team (definitely this one), but we are very grateful for the nomination. I’m trying not to be offended we didn’t make the cut for best coffee shop, but I suppose our office Keurig will have to wait another year, and you’ll be forced to vote for one of the amazing local coffee shops that did get nominated.
