Iโve spent decades in the financial services space, and Iโve come to a simple but powerful realization: the biggest gap between a good plan and a good life is implementation. Thatโs why Iโve coined a new word โ Implementarian.
An Implementarian is someone who doesnโt just create strategies on paper but ensures they actually get done. It combines โimplementโ (to put a plan into action) with the suffix โ-arianโ (a person who believes in or practices something). Itโs not in the dictionary yet, but it perfectly captures what we strive for every day at Financialoscopyยฎ.
Most people understand the importance of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and updated beneficiary designations. Yet far too many documents sit in pretty binders gathering dust. Titles arenโt changed. Trusts arenโt funded. Follow-through never happens. Thatโs where the friction โ and the risk โ lives.
We work with qualified attorneys we trust, but we go further. We help supply them with complete information upfront, then gently, persistently, and lovingly follow up to make sure everything is executed properly. Weโve seen too many families discover too late that good intentions werenโt enough.
This mindset extends far beyond legal documents. Itโs about holding ourselves and our clients accountable in a kind but firm way โ much like the old Weight Watchers model where a group helped the other members stay on track. Life gets busy. Priorities shift. Unexpected expenses arise. Without someone in your corner reminding you of your own values and goals, even the best plan can drift.โ
Being an Implementarian means bridging the gap between knowing what should happen and actually making it happen. Itโs one of the most valuable services we provide, and itโs deeply rewarding to watch families move from โsomedayโ to โdone.โ
