🦌 Proud Dad (Family) Moment 🦌

2 weeks ago, our oldest son harvested not only his first, but also 2nd deer during the WI Youth Gun season (2 shots, 2 doe)! He is filling the freezer for us 🥶

This milestone means a lot to our family. Hunting has always been a big part of our individual and collective families, not just for the harvest, but for the many lessons it teaches: practice, patience, preparation, respect for the outdoors, and the reward of hard work.

Watching him put in the time and effort over the last 5 years, especially this year - and seeing it pay off - was a proud moment as a parent....not to mention tasty! 🤤 🥩 These experiences remind me how valuable it is to set goals, stay disciplined, and celebrate progress....both in and outside the field (trust me, he's going for Da'Turdy Pointer)

Congrats Buckaroo on your Trophy Harvest 🏆

PS - I thought it would be best to show the pictures that really matter...the prep, family, smiles, occasional nap...but left the 'harvest' 🩸 pictures off
