SPOTLIGHT 🔦✨This week’s Spotlight is our new addition to the Greater Omaha Hershey Bank Team…. 🥁🥁🥁… Please Welcome Ashley Parks !

1.) Your official title:
My office title at Hershey Bank is I am a Universal Banker.

2.) What inspired you to be in the banking/lending?

I have been in banking before, and I absolutely loved it. I was so ready to get back into it that was truly the happiest I have been. I got to meet so many people and build so many relationships. I also got to learn some much about the banking and lending world.

3.) What has you most excited about this new branch?

I am most excited about this branch because it is a brand to the Omaha Metro area. I am so excited to be able to be a part of this branch and being able to watch it grow, I have lived in Omaha my whole life and I truly do think Hershey Bank will do amazing out here.

4.) What is one piece of financial advice you give almost everyone?

I always am a strong advocate on saving money or investing your money. It is honestly so important in the long run. It will definitely help set you up for the future. Also just helping customers achieve all of their financial goals as well.

5.) What’s your favorite part of helping customers?

My favorite part of helping customers is building personal relationships with them and getting to know them. Also always making sure to give above and beyond customer service to help them with anything they need and also to keep them happy here and wanting them to stay here.

6.) If you weren’t in banking, what would you be doing?

If I wasn’t in banking, I would probably go to try and be in real estate. It has always been a dream of mine.

SPOTLIGHT 🔦✨ This weeks Spotlight is on Lorrie Thorson our Branch Manager / voice of Hershey Bank- Greater Omaha social media. Read below to learn more about The Chaos Controller 👠🏦🌪️

1.)What inspired you to be in the banking/lending?

I had an eagerness when I was coming out of high school to increase my own knowledge on banking/finances. I truly fell in love with the ability to help and educate clients on how to make dreams realistic, if planned for well. Ten years later I’m still here!

2.) What has you most excited about this new branch?

To have a space to invite in our community, to foster new relationships and see how Hershey Bank can support the community of Elkhorn.

3.) What is one piece of financial advice you give almost everyone?

It’s never too late to ask for help with your finances. Bankers like me are here to help, never to judge.

4.) What’s your favorite part of helping customers?

The sparkle in their eyes realizing their goals are a heck of a lot more achievable than they thought!

5.) If you weren’t in banking, what would you be doing?

Working for the Denver Broncos in some capacity. I’m a HUGE fan and would love to just support the franchise in any way- even if that means being a water girl!
