As a child, Patricia and her mother moved frequently, relying on family and friends for housing. Today, she has changed that story for her own family.

As first-time homebuyers, PaTrisha and Tremayne took an important step toward building a brighter future for their children. In their homeownership letter, they shared that, "It is important for us to create a safe, loving, and consistent environment where our children can thrive."

After paying more in rent than they will now pay for their mortgage, they are investing in something that belongs to them: a home where memories will be made, milestones will be celebrated, and generations can grow together.

We're grateful to partner with gener8tor, Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties, and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for Gener8tor to offer no-cost, career-focused skills training for residents across the city of Omaha and help more individuals build pathways to meaningful careers.

Through this partnership, local residents can access:
⚡ Industry-recognized certifications
⚡ Career coaching and professional development support
⚡ Job placement resources that connect talent with local employers

Participants can choose from four specialized career tracks:

What an incredible evening at our second Capital Conversations! We are overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who joined us at NOMA to learn, connect, and be part of such a meaningful conversation.

A special thank you to Maranda Adams and Ashley Kuhn of Blair Freeman for sharing your inspiring journey and reminding us that building something great is never done alone, it takes vision, perseverance, and an incredible team. Your transparency and willingness to pour into our community made a lasting impact on everyone in the room.
