As we wrap up an amazing Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate a few incredible milestones. In September alone, we raised $47,386. So far this year, we've raised $164,733, and since the Childhood Cancer Program began in Nebraska in 2016, we've raised an incredible $1,948,574.
I'm especially proud of my wife, Sally, who has been a passionate advocate for nearly a decade. As one of the longest-serving board member of the Childhood Cancer Program, she has dedicated countless hours to this mission through her leadership, volunteer work, and unwavering commitment to helping children and families affected by cancer.
The impact of this program would not be possible without people like Sally who continuously give their time, energy, and heart to this cause. I couldn't be more proud of all she does to support this incredible organization and the difference it continues to make in our community.
