The Arthur Apartments were recently featured on 6 News WOWT, highlighting a story that means a lot to our team!

As we developed a new 329-unit apartment community near 48th and Dodge, we made a deliberate decision to preserve the 1948 art moderne building on site. It was once the veterinary practice of Dr. Arthur Pittman, whose impact on Omaha extended far beyond his profession.

He was a civic leader, a housing advocate, and a developer who helped expand opportunity in our city. Today, his restored office anchors the community as the leasing space and resident lounge.

Michael B. Yanney, founder of Burlington Capital and one of Omaha’s most respected civic leaders, passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 92.

Widely recognized for his leadership in business, he will be remembered most for his generosity and unwavering belief in others. From humble beginnings in Kearney, Nebraska, he carried forward the values of faith, hard work, education, and compassion throughout his life. He believed success was measured not by what you accumulate, but by what you give, and he lived that conviction every day.

His legacy is reflected in the lives he touched, the opportunities he created, and the example he set for our company and community. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, Gail, his daughter, Lisa Roskens, our Chairman and CEO, and their entire family during this time.
