At 17, Jeff hit a breaking point.

His parents were divorcing. His relationship ended. Anxiety, sadness, and pressure were piling up fast.

Then, in one moment, he looked in the mirror and asked himself a life-changing question:

“Why would I give myself more pain to get rid of pain?”

That moment became the beginning of a mindset shift that would shape the next 30 years of his life:

No Bad Days.

Not because life is easy.
Not because hard things don’t happen.
But because we still have a choice in how we respond.

This episode is a powerful conversation about pain, responsibility, faith, freedom, and choosing to live differently.

Most people think cold calling gets you business. It doesn't.

When Sean started at the M&A firm, he thought the grind was about reps. Make the calls, get the "yes," close the deal. But what he actually learned is that cold calling is about one thing: building belief in yourself through rejection.

See, Sean came from dairy farms and deployments. He was trained to show up, do hard things, and not complain. But cold calling taught him something different. It taught him that every "no" isn't a reflection of his value. It's just data. And when you stack enough data without it crushing you, you become unbreakable.

Now here's what separates him: while most people quit when they hit resistance, Sean kept calling. And not because he was tough. Because he genuinely believed that on the other side of that phone was a $20 million business owner who needed to know his options. He wasn't desperate. He was serving.

That's the difference between someone who sounds like they're selling and someone who sounds like they already know you need what they're offering.

The real skill isn't the pitch. The skill is the belief that the person picking up the phone is better off having met you.
