Small but mighty! 🍂
September belongs to this adorable pika, captured by photographer Judson Knoll for our 2026 Member Calendar. Judson describes pikas as a cross between a marmot and a mouse, and they're about as Pacific Northwest as it gets. While we're soaking up the last days of summer, this little mountain neighbor is busy gathering and drying plants to stash away for winter snacking.
Congratulations, Judson, and thank you for sharing a peek at this charming little forager.

It’s back-to-school season and we’re, like, obsessed. Here's a blast from the past: the rrrriiiip of opening your Trapper Keeper™. So many rad patterns. Horses. Rainbows. On this Teal Tuesday we're celebrating some seriously sweet brownie karma, and you know our friend Tie-Dye Tim has all the good chocolate vibes coming his way. ✨ 🍫 ✨ After years of showing up at our branches with homemade goodies, colorful vibes and zero shortage of brownie points, it was our turn to treat him. We invited him to the downtown Olympia branch for a special surprise from all of us at WSECU.

Our friends at Krusteaz heard about Tie-Dye Tim and donated a dozen boxes of brownie mix! We packed it all into a teal gift bundle and surprised TDT with an unboxing of his own. Made complete with plenty of teal tie-dye to show our appreciation. 💚

WSECU sends the sweetest shoutout to Tim, the legend, who's been adding a little sugar to branch morale for years. Thanks a choco-lot!

If you’ve been impacted by the Spokane-area wildfires, we’re here to help. Through Oct. 31, 2026, qualifying members may be eligible to borrow financial relief funds at 2.99% APR* to help with emergency expenses, evacuation costs, repairs or other unexpected needs.

There are other ways we may be able to help, too: Skip-a-Pay allows you to skip up to two monthly payments on eligible loans and credit cards, loan payment relief is available on qualifying loans or just talk with one of our financial coaches about options like loan consolidation and managing bills.

You don’t have to figure it out alone. We’re here to listen, talk through your options and help you find a path forward. See link for all the ways we can help.

Boots, Buckles and Bold Impact. That's was the theme of this year's United Way of Lewis County Power of the Purse Event, an impactful evening that mixed a little glamor with some Western flair and more than a dash of generosity and purpose. We've been a proud sponsor of this event for many years and, like every year, we had a blast celebrating with a community that knows how to show up for children and families in Lewis County. Great people, great cause, great company and a great excuse to get fancy while keeping it real. Scroll for a few of our favorite moments from the evening. 👛✨
