This is a great idea!
Across America, hundreds of shopping malls now sit nearly empty.
Places that once brought entire communities together are slowly being forgotten, even though they already have millions of square feet of indoor space, parking, restaurants, and infrastructure.
Instead of letting these buildings continue to decline, imagine transforming them into America's largest Indoor Community Sports & Wellness Centers.
The former retail stores could become basketball courts, indoor soccer fields, pickleball arenas, climbing walls, fitness centers, swimming pools, youth sports academies, physical therapy clinics, cafés, and wellness spaces—all while preserving the original mall structure.
Families could exercise year-round, children could play safely indoors, local sports clubs could grow, and communities could once again have a place where people gather every day instead of just shopping.
Sometimes the biggest opportunity isn't building something new.
It's reimagining what we've already built.
If your local abandoned mall became a Community Sports & Wellness Center, what would be the first thing you'd add?
