Lawrence Memorial Hospital health system will no longer accept Aetna or Humana MEDICARE ADVANTAGE plans effective January 1st 2025. Please note the letter they sent out incorrectly states members affected have until December 31st to pick a new plan. THIS IS INCORRECT... the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period runs Oct 15th through Dec 7th for the 2025 plan period. Call us if you will be affected by this network change (913 322-4555).

Medicare Advantage Plans are marketed VERY heavily during the fall months. Medicare Advantage is NOT the same as Medicare Supplement insurance and Part D and it requires a thorough explanation and review before making the move from Original Medicare to Medicare Advantage. It is wise to NEVER respond to a television commercial, junk mail advertisement and telemarketing solicitation.
