MEDICARE SUPPLEMENTS
If you’re new to Medicare, you might not realize that your Medicare Supplement (Plan G, Plan F, etc.) rates are often most competitive when you first become eligible — especially here in the Kansas City area, where several top carriers are currently pricing aggressively for new enrollees.

Why is timing so important?
➡️ When you first enroll in Medicare Part B, you get a one-time 6-month window to choose any Medicare Supplement plan without medical underwriting — meaning no health questions or risk of denial.

After that window closes, most carriers can require medical underwriting, and certain health conditions could impact your approval or premium.

A few reasons many people prefer a Medicare Supplement plan:

🏥 No network restrictions — you can see any doctor or specialist nationwide who accepts Medicare.

💵 Predictable costs — most plans cover the majority (or all) of your out-of-pocket expenses after Medicare pays its share.

🧭 Stable coverage — your benefits don’t change year to year like some other plan types.

Lately, I’ve been focused on implementing new processes and technology. It’s been a lot, and honestly, my mental and social battery is running low after an industry altering annual enrollment period —but messages like this keep me going.

“Keaton, today we received our [carrier] cards and welcome packages. Thank you for the time you spent getting us comprehensive insurance for a reasonable price. Thank you for answering all the texts and phone calls and numerous questions. I can’t promise moving forward that there won’t be more but we appreciate your attention to customer service.”

This is exactly why I do what I do!
